Friend was working on project.
Updated to a brand new version of Unity. I also did so as well. As I came back , I found this error.
Even after hitting continue, I cant open the editor.
Open that file and correct the format error if you can. Did you or your friend edit the file manually?
Also, how are you sharing the project? Anything but source control is not advisable, especially don‘t share the project via Dropbox or other cloud store services as you will overwrite each other‘s files including those that Unity creates/maintains temporarily.
