Failed to store screen shot

Hi there,

So I’ve got a weird problem. I’m using uRecord (I know, its not a Unity app but stay with me). After making a video and crushing my hard drive to almost 0mb of free space, I freed up some space and tried again. Every since that point i’m getting the error: “Failed to store screen shot”.

I’ve read other threads but it all involves someone manually making screen shots and miscoding the persistent path, etc. I think my system or something is stopping the screen shots from being created.

Any ideas where to look?

Please show the code that you are using. Is this on Windows? I assume you’ve rebooted, cleared out the Recycle Bin, etc.

Hey, so it turns out it was uRecord. I must’ve enacted some unintended behavior through pausing/canceling of recording, etc. The result was that it left behind a gameobject that was slowing everything down to make it easier to record each frame.
