They can sell the licenses, you have to be a student, yes the prices are real, no you will not get version 4 earlier.

I noticed this offer some time ago, it’s pretty cool. You can develop something using the full pro version, but once you want to sell something you are forced to purchase the “non-watermarked” version for 750 $ (which is still a good price)
