hi!
working on a fantasy game??
have a lok at my music in the asset store… it can suit your needs without spending a fortune!
I can offer :
Ancient Kingdom, fantasy music composed having in mind a “sword and sorcery” game. You get a menu music, a background music, a battle-oriented theme and some short “cuts” or descriptive music, 10-20 seconds long, to be used for example as character description in the menu or for some episode in the game.
SFX Pack, simple sound effects: you will find 5 flames, 8 footsteps, 28 metal hits, 6 missed hits and 18 “suffering” vocal sounds. Each category has a lot of variations in both wav and MP3 format.
You can download all the mp3 demo (along with all the other music i released for asset store) from my website in a single ZIP file.
Let me know what do you think!!
Very nice stuff - well done! Like the brass sections in Ancient Kingdom especially.
Are the short “cuts” seamlessly loopable?
Wish you the best of luck with sales! I found it a tough market in the asset store, seems like music is the last thing on the purchase list for everyone and all those projects that never see a release date usually won’t reach the music stage =)
Thanks!
the short cuts are not loopable, they were not made with that intention in mind… they should be some short musical moment to emphasize events in the game.
i agree that music seems always at the end of the list… and most of the time you listen to very very cheap (free??) tunes! it’s really an hard job for us!!!
i also had a look at your site and you have great music, too… i liked the variety of genres and the different version for each song!
check also my voice SFX additions, that may be useful for fantasy-style games:
monster screams: 57 voices and screams for your fantasy creatures, be they zombies, trolls, dragons, orcs, animals or any kind of hellish monsters
and humany agony screams: 24 screams of agony, 12 for male and 12 for female. They will be essential for any videogames in which someone is being hit, beaten, injuried, tortured, or is suffering extreme pain and agony.
have a look also at my latest asset: “Short Orchestral Clips - win and lose fanfare”, a collection of short orchestral clips, perfect for win and lose situations, end levels, finisher, success, failures, bonus, etc. There is also a big “Ta Da” sound, in two variations (normal and dissonant) and two rising orchestral “clusters”.
and at my “complete pack” with all the music I have published at a bargain price!
