fantasy pack WIP

hello, im working on a fantasy model package, instead of spamming the small art thread with updates i decided to make a new one for this.
package will include a undergound gothic environment and 5 characters: (a dark knight,3 goblins and cavetroll)
i havent decided a price tag yet for the asset store
here’s a editor screenshot of its current state,

none of the characters are rigged for the moment and i only have the walls, stairs and roofs done for the dungeon.
i havent used a single photo texture, its all sculpted

First off, the models look amazing and the animations are quite nice too.

The only think I noticed was at some points the wall was a bit off

Other than that great job it looks really good.

@RavenOfCode yes i m not good at making modular environments. i did tests all weekend and the elements dont work correctly :frowning:
so ill focus on the characters instead. and maybe do a cave canyon environment so i can use a triplanar shader that is seamless and then fill it with props.

I can say your characters look amazing, and if that your strong point just make those characters look awesomer.

Just curious but what modeling software do you use?

i use cinema 4d and zbrush
working on the cave now

I gotta say, looks amazing. Have you ever worked with Blender? It’s pretty good once you get the hang of it. How long does it usually take you to get the models all setup with the textures?

thank u, ive got still alot of animating to do.
usually takes me a day to model, texture and rig a model. but it depends on model complexity offcourse, so sometimes more sometimes less.

REALLY??? o.0 I usually take about…well not really sure, a couple of days, and that’s just to sculpt and finish the retopology. hahhaa well, major kudos then! keep it up!

i reuse alot of stuff i allready made. for example hands(or a base head), once uve done a generic hand u can easily attach it to a new model and make some adjustments to fit the model. i save alot of time like that

Actually, I didn’t think about that haha. I think I’ll do that too. For some reason, I like to do everything from scratch but saving time is definitely something that’s valuable. How many models do you have now?

a dozen of generic stuff, like hands heads and base bodys who allready have good topology. retopo takes too much time to do it everytime again and again. i also do the same for my character rigs

That’s a really good tip. For some reason, I though having like a character temp, like full body temp would be a good idea, but having separate parts would also be good. The good thing is with the rig, I have a pretty good one, but it’s for a humanoid. Which can always be readjusted for other types.

finished most of the animations of the “overlord”, im wondering if i should make exaggerated attacks, like he has some superpowers or just keep it (semi)realistic.
