Hey
I’m using Unity 3 beta in it’s current beta state and I have a problem. The game runs fine in the editor, but as soon as I export it to a standalone, all it does is open a purple screen - if even that.
When I export it to standalone, I get the following two errors:
m_PhysicalFileSize != block * m_CacheSize
UnityEditor.HostView:OnHUI()
and
Error while reading file. Header is invalid!
UnityEditor.HostView:OnHUI()
(The file it specifies says something about “tree”)
Edit: When I delete the Terrain, it works again. So the error must have something to do with the terrain… Is there any ways I don’t have to start all over again…? :shock:
Any ideas how to fix this?
The only record of this in the bug database happens when .tga files are used for a texture. Even if it’s not a .tga, try saving a separate copy of the terrain heightmap and dragging it into the project to replace the existing one.
Hello! It’s been almost one year and a half but i got the same error for a different reason… I use Unity 3.4.2 Pro (30-day trial) and when i 'm loading my project and trying to open my scene file in the editor i get this :
“Fatal error while reading file. Header is invalid!”
and at the bottom this :
“Error in file: C:/BuildAgent/work/842f9557127e852/Runtime/Serialize/TypeTree.cpp at line:337”
I did not find anything relevant to the forums but this post only…
Do someone has a clue??
Thank you
