FBX Exporter - Nothing to Export. (Humanoid .anim export)

When I’m trying to export animations (.anim) FROM Unity I haven’t animation data in my .fbx files.
Reproduce: create Humanoid character, drop it to Hierarchy, asign an Animator controller and Avatar. Add animation to Animator Controller. Try to export your character via FBX Exporter → No animation keys in fbx file.
I’m using Unity 2023.2.19f1 and FBX Exporter 5.1.1 (March 19, 2024)
Am I doing something wrong?
Have any ideas how to export .anim from Unity for now?

FBXExport doesnt support convert Humanoid w/ clips to FBX directly. You could try use Recorder: Record FBX animations via the Recorder window | FBX Exporter | 5.1.1

I haven’t done it before, but I know allegedly you can export AnimationClips to FBX from Timeline when you install the FBX Exporter package: Export a Timeline animation clip to FBX | FBX Exporter | 5.1.1

Amazing, thank you a lot. It’s worked! Not from the first attempt. Some tweaks inside Recorder were needed :slightly_smiling_face:

Hello, I am experiencing the same issue as you.
I am trying to convert humanoid animations (.anim) into FBX files to import into Unreal Engine.
I tried using the Recorder, but when I checked the exported FBX file, only 77 frames of animation were recorded out of 1200 frames.
In the Recorder window, there was a message saying “77 Frame processed.”
I have been trying to fix this but haven’t succeeded yet.
Also, when I run the Recorder, the animation in the Scene plays at a sped-up rate—could this be related?
I would like to know some of the changes or fixes you made.
I am Korean and apologize if using translation causes any difficulty in understanding this message.
