FBX Import / Export Maya -> Lerpz


I an looking how to import Lerpz into Maya 2010, an FBX file and then exporting it and let it update in the game. For example I want to edit his head in Maya.

I open the FBX file in Maya, and then I Export it again to the same location...... I don't see any changes happening or when I do see changes, he is invisible.

Any ideas?

You shouldn't export your models if you don't absolutely need to. Unity supports raw Maya model files for importing directly into the editor.

If you save your model in a subfolder of your Assets folder, then whenever you save your model file, it will be automatically updated in Unity. Otherwise, you'll need to re-import it every time you make a change.
