FBX meta files keep changing!

We are a team working on a project, and keep running into an annoying issue where the meta files of our FBX’s keep changing. Specifically, our computers keep adding and removing the “nodeinfo” section of the meta file. Why does Unity keep changing these meta files, and how can we prevent it? It’s causing confusion and dilusion of our source control process, making it difficult to track changes and bugs.
