Hi.
I’m starting in this Unity 3d, I have spent for a project an obj that they have taken from photographs of a drone, the obj in question is of a terrain. The obj is composed of:
1x obj
1x mtl
16x textures
All this has a weight of 500 MB, the obj about 400 MB. All this I have converted to fbx and it has been in one 250 MB.
The problem is that when you place the fbx and navigate over it it hangs and goes very slowly, I think from my ignorance that it is normal because of the weight it has and that it is not the correct way.
Should it be a piece of land? If so, is there a way to convert fbx to terrain ?. Or some other solution?
