Feature Request: Privacy Policy Hyperlink

Hello,

In this ever evolving world data privacy is becoming more and more important. I will be required to provide a privacy policy for my Package.

I think it would be nice if UPM had a hyperlink (like for licenses, documentation and change log) for Privacy Policy. I expect that a package is not required to have a privacy policy but feel it should be encouraged - even if the package does not collect data.

I hope you consider my suggestion :slight_smile:

Hey there!

Thanks for the feedback and sincere apologies for the delay in reply. I had raised this internally over the holidays but just got feedback.

So - initial reaction internally is that it is something we also want internally but about an ETA on when it will happen won’t be possible. I can at least say to you that it’s a good idea and something we want implemented. It’s a matter of when.
