Feedback after some time using Muse - Gabriel Lopossa

Two things have stuck out right away, as quality-of-life issues.

I’d like to be able to type, and see my text right away as I enter it in. During the entering text prompt phase of asking a question, there is no reason the user should not get immediate feedback about what they typed. I make a lot of typos, and having a delay of a few seconds is a frustrating experience, because it makes even formulating the question an arduous task, and needlessly in my mind, because the user has not submitted the question yet.

Secondly,
After entering my question and submitting, the interface automatically scrolls down as the answer is generating. Long answers essentially lock up your focus for several seconds at a time as the page auto-scrolls down, but in a jarring irregular manner which makes the experience of reading difficult and barely possible, since you generally want to start at the beginning of the answer. The current implementation works fine for short answers, even feels like you’re following along. But for longer answers it just makes it frustrating because you can’t even begin to start reading the answer until the AI has finished. Again, this seems unnecessary, as you should be able to start reading an answer from the beginning and it should generate more as you are processing the input from the first bit. Basically, allow me to read the first part of the answer while the rest of it is generating…

I realize these might seem nitpicky; My intent is not to criticize. I believe the user experience is king, top priority. I hope this feedback is useful and helpful and helps lead to a better user experience for everyone.

If anyone else has similar or relevant experiences they would like to share, I’d love to hear how you are using the tool and where the pain points are for you so we can share them effectively and advocate for especially QOL improvements.
