What To Show
Minimum Viable Product (MVP) - Core game play > everything else
Post a link to a playable game, preferably WebGL. If you don’t have a playable game, post something substantial, not just text.
How To Ask For Feedback
Be concise.
Specify what you want feedback on and what you don’t.
Resist the urge to write an immediate defense. Take the time to understand their points. Remember that your friends here are taking time out of their busy schedules to help you for free.
How To Give Feedback
Be positive. There’s something of value in every game.
Quiet one again, I progressed a bit in the mod-department and it kinda looks like it’s becoming a game at last:
Footage is from actual smartphone gameplay (19:9 aspect Samsung S10). Sadly, I haven’t figured out on how to make touches visible in the samsung vanilla record tool.
EDIT:I just figured a could enable touch indication in the developer options : )
Question: - What do you think when looking at this overall (apart from the bad audio mastering)? - If you would see these kinds of images in a advertisment/trailer (including fast cuts and music ofc.), would you care to download and try it?
UI-Programming and sequencing takes so much time… and I haven’t even finished the mod-upgrading menu. Next on my plate is getting the portal to trigger the terrain switch when traversing. That, and fixing my broken enemies and I might be able to share a .apk-build for once.
You have something interesting here.
Definitely have potential to be fun, with some enemies.
You trailer should include AI fights, few flights acrobatic rolls, and quick upgrades menu selections. The last one probably on fast forward, trying to show much content, in short time.
