File Permissions need to be set...

This just started a few days ago, been ignoring it but its begining to bug me. Every time I start Unity (and appears to be the only program with this problem), I am prompted by my Mac and told that the permissions are wrong and asks if I wish for it to set the permissions on my files.

Its very generic message, I can screen grab it tonight and post the image, but it literally happens on every launch of Unity. I haven’t installed anything else on my Mac since Unity, and it never did this before. I don’t know where to look.

There is most likely a file which has the wrong owner setup.
chown in the terminal can fix that.

Thanks, I’ll try to find out which one it is, new to the mac world, I am a pc guy originally, got my Mac, got Unity, and I was ready to throw all my other hardware out the door.

I get the same error. I think it was generated by 1.6.2 upgrade, but I’m not sure.
