Hello, now that I am using Unity 3 all external light maps I am generating are in a HDR format. I need to find a tool to fill the black UV space. I was using Flaming Pear Solidify C but that tool doesn’t seem to work with HDR files. Any suggestions for another tool or way to make Solidify C work?
Here is what I’m talking about. This is a non HDR example. The lightmaps have black space which would seem fine except the way the maps are sampled, little bits of black can be pulled into the lightmap, especially when you get far away from the object. The Solidify C plugin takes that space and fills it with the nearest color (Lower image). I am just trying to find a way to do this with HDR images. It doesn’t seem like photoshop lets you do much editing to an HDR image. Is there a good program that does?
