[Filled] [PAID] Dungeon crawler system developer

We’re currently looking to fill a position in our small studio and looking for a ‘generalist’ unity developer. Most of our requirements will be systems to be designed and included in our larger game.

We’re offering Payment of $300 USDC (Crypto), for a dungeon crawler attack system.

Task implement a first-person dungeon crawler combat system: ‘Quake / Doom’ meets turn based RPG. Enemies can roam or have navigation patterns, once a player is hit by an enemy then combat is initialed in a ui overlay. In combat the user and enemy / enemies will perform actions (Attack, Magic, Item, etc), the user will have a HUD where a selection of actions will be performed.

Packages that will be used:

  • A* Pathfinding
  • Zenject
  • Easy Save

Below is the requirements (every system just needs to be implemented for a designer to extend e.g: you won’t make all the stats like ‘lock picking’ there just needs to be a Dictionary of stats you serialize and utilize for the combat, or an enemy can be a capsule collider):

  • Stats and Abilities: Define player stats (health, mana, strength) and abilities (special skills, magic).

  • Inventory System: Manage items, equipment, and consumables during combat. (drag and drop inventory package provided)

  • Character Progression: Experience points, leveling up, skill trees, or upgrades.

  • AI and Behavior: Design enemy AI, including patrol routes, attack patterns, and reactions to the player. (A* package provided)

  • Enemy AI Interaction during combat: Ensure enemies react to player attacks and perform counter-attacks.

  • Combat Mechanics: Implement attack mechanics for one or many enemies to perform a list of actions (Attack, Magic, Defend, Item).

  • HUD: Display player health, combat actions, mana, and other stats. (Package provided)
