Final fantasy Style world and random battle scene system

Hello everyone

i wish i could understand how to create those type of scenes …

i have a youtube link so that all can see what im talking about … starting at 5 minutes :

im a big fan of the final fantasy genre … , and since final fantasy 10 … , they didnt seem to inplant a real world you can actually walk or fly in it …

i know it must be complicated but … i wonder how to script a simple world with a battle system … in wish , while walking , opens the battle system scene with randomized ennemis …

Clear as mud.

There is no ‘simple script’ to create a battle system ala FF8.

Try making Pong or Pac-Man in Unity first, then work your way up to Final Fantasy games.
