Finally got unity to paint rocks but now it won't paint plants

I got unity to paint my rocks but it won’t paint my plants. The only plant it paints is some fern I got off of the asset store. I wouldn’t even paint a lavender plant I made. Saying it had too many vertices when I turned down the detail density as low it could go; removed as many as the primitive meshes as I could; and getting the mesh down to 6 vertices. Also, It seems to make everything transparent saying there is some kind of error about tirs not equaling total count. This ss is one of my imports.

I figured out what is going on. It is importing the mesh but the poly or vertices. I am using 5.5.0.

I meant that it is not importing the polys or tirs or vetices. I will figure this out later.

Well I got it to import the triangles, normals, and vertices exporting an FBX with normals only. but it still gives me the 65 vertices error despite the detail density being turned down all the way and have 16 vertices on 2 primitive meshes.

I also filpped normals in the mesh.

Well I finally got it to import half of the detail mesh and I can place it by hand but it still does not paint.

I solved the issue by using wings 3D and then importing a .obj file with faces selected.

Well it still won’t paint the plant. Now it is not giving me an error message so I don’t know what is wrong. I did get it to render the entire mesh though.

well, I am giving up. No one wants to is able to help and the only reason I wanted to paint the plants was to have them sway in the wind.
