This seems to be unsupported or disabled by default. Is there any way I can use this feature in the new search dialogue?
Hi! This should be supported. What version of Unity are you on? Can you check your indexes to see if they are enabled, and if at least one of them contains your assets? You can access your indexes in “Window/Search/Index Manager”.
You should see something like this:
