Well, the wife and I are very excited! We are dangerously close to submitting our first game “The Infinity Project”.
I have a question.
From what I understand, I have to pick a release date that really does not mean anything, but I should pick a date way out in the future, like, lets say 10 Jan… Then when Apple releases the game and I get notified, I can go back into the system and move the date back to the current date. If I don’t may game may end up on the last page of new releases… Is this true???
Yeah, that’s what I just did w/ Mix Match 3D. I got burned on my first release, Zombie Bowling didn’t get approved until after the date I had set, wound up several pages back in the “new” list.
I just grabbed Mix match and I have to say! Man what a great game, it is just what an iPhone game was meant to do. It will give me hours of fun when my wife drags me off to the mall for Christmas shopping! I just gave you 5 stars!
I suggest changing the release date every day to the current day. That way, if you miss apple’s mail, your game will still be released and should appear in the new releases list.
Game looks nice, but I have one question. In the video the “Fire” button appears to move around the screen, was that by design? I don’t think its a good idea to have a GUI that moves.
My game took 50 hours (in real time) to go from “In Review” to approved. So, while it sounds like you are very close, when that status change is made, be patient!
