Mods/Admins - I tried placing this on the assets thread in the Asset Store forum yesterday, but it was quickly pushed down within 5 minutes and never seen the light of day.
I am willing to give out 4 Promo Codes for Eclectic Master System, all I ask for in return is legitimate reviews. Trying to get it ready for the spring sale if it’s selected, and legitimate reviews certainly helps, I’ve given out vouchers before on facebook groups and not a single review from it, so I’m willing to give it another shot.
Awesome thanks man …
It’s certainly a system that will take a tiny bit of time getting used too…
One of my favorite features is holding shift and tapping any key on the keyboard and getting quick access to any and all components (think of SHader Forge) when you press a Key you can get that component…
Or if you hold Middle Mouse wheel button down and do any key - any scripts in your project can be accessed the same exact way
Interesting. Eclectic Master System moves much of the Unity interface into Scene View, so I guess the workflow becomes somewhat similar to an in-game level editor.
There are also things to say for the opposite approach, designing the game system separately and using Unity solely as a view, for example with Entitas.
Of course a lot depends on the type of game, but I’ll take this opportunity to compare those two types of workflow.
@movra : Never heard of Entitas, checking it out now… Might can draw some inspiration from it for the next update
Appreciate you taking the time out of your day/night to try it out.

Also - all 4 codes have been used now guys/gals.

Eclectic Master System and Entitas aren’t mutually exclusive as they are very different things. They could be used together. Use Eclectic Master System to build the levels and Entitas for the game system driving them.
But Eclectic Master System seems to embrace the Unity editor whereas Entitas strives to isolate game development from Unity as much as possible. To the extent that a game made with Entitas could potentially run without Unity, eg. headless or with a different engine.
That striking difference in approach to Unity is the first thought that came to mind.
Ahhh okay, makes sense I suppose… Yeah I tried to make scene working as simple as possible. I am sure there are tons more things that can be done to make things ever quick, it’s just the matter of finding them…
Too me, yeah 10 seconds to find something isn’t long, but 10 seconds here, 10 seconds there, 2,000 times, adds up to (333) minutes. When with EMS, it could be done in - (50) minutes instead - if it takes 1.5 seconds for each Component/Script.
@N1warhead_1 Your PM is turned off. I have some work for Unity devs that may be up your alley. If interested fire me a PM and I will explain a bit to you.
