I’m using the first person character asset in my game, but after any of the movement keys are released, the player slides to a stop. In the script there is a variable declared called slowDownRate which claims to control the rate at which the controller comes to a stop when there is no input, but no matter how much I change it, the player still slides to a stop at the same rate.Furthermore, it’s not even used in the script other than its declaration. Does anyone know how I can make this variable used, or find another way to stop the movement of the first person character quicker, Or just control the acceleration of the player more? Any answers will be appreciated.
