As you guys know, the latest version of Unity does not come with the Islands demo, which kinda sucks for me cause I was planing on using the First Person Controller Prefab that comes with it for a maze game that I’m working on, so anyway I downloaded the Island Demo from the Resources area BUT for some reason Unity 3.4 can’t run the FPC Prefab properly and I don’t think I could make with myself.
SO, could any of you PLEASE “donate” me (I like how that sounds lol) a FPC Prefab that does work in the latest version of Unity? It won’t hurt you to help a noob designer out
The FPS prefab is already included with Unity. If you have Unity, then you have the prefab. It’s included with the standard assets package. You’ve made a mistake, you don’t need the old Island demo at all.
I know what it’s like to be a beginner when approaching something new for the first time, but I strongly recommend you read all of the documentation that is included with Unity, as well as helpful resources on the Unity website.
Thanks for answering i3DTutorials, but I looked for a FPS Prefab through the Standard Assets folder and there is just a GameScore script, I also looked in the Prefabs folder and didnt see anything, could you please indicate me where exactly it is, thanks.
