First Person shooter arms question?

Hello i was wondering when you make an fps how you set up so you’re arms and gun are in the camera view so its a FPS. Thanks! :slight_smile:

You’d have to model the gun and the arms and animate them, and then put them on a First Person Controller. What I’d like to know here is how do you model it with the arms and kep everything aligned so it looks correct when viewing in first person? Say, like not having an arm where your chest should be etc? I’ve seen things on modelling, but not on animating the arms at all.

In your 3D modelling tool, use the camera supplied in the scene to position your hands correctly. It should be fine when you export (you could also make sure that the scene camera has similar attirbutes to the one you have in unity.)
