Hi from ORiGO GAMES based out of Shanghai China. This is our first visual unity post so I am hoping we can find some common Indies out there who can help us do some simple bug checking and get some constructive feedback on our first web test build on http://www.buttoncrash.com.
Note that there is no functionality as of yet, We are updating this based off of feedback on performance. Note the purpose of this is purely promotional at this point. If you guys can check it out and tell us what OS your running and specs, and toss up any bug reports it would be uber appreciated.
The site is meant to be a teaser site for our new projects. However we have not publicly announced anything yet.
Tired out the site and it does not crash my computer (vista - home edition). However it takes approximately 3 to 4 minutes to load. Is the objects supposed to be a gif type file or is it supposed to be interactive? It kept changing from several different close-ups (of part of the whole image) and showing the whole image (of a bowling alley?). Also as the object showed different images the page scrolled up and down all by itself. Perhaps I had moved my mouse beforehand while it was loading and the page was responding to it late…?
Hope this helps.
Safari says the file’s 94MB, Activity Monitor says I’m getting 250-300KB/s. 94MB is way too big for a web player, and once it finally loaded, I was getting single-digit fps, so it wasn’t really usable. “Do you remember how it use to be?” should be “used to be?”.
