Just letting anyone who cares know that I’ve made a short version of Dragon Crowntail’s Aquarium quest. It’s a browser based aquarium game where you get 5 minutes ( 300 seconds on the timer), to kill as many of the 36 fish in the tank as you can. You get 5 lives and 5 minutes. It is a 3D game not a 2D type game, Third Person perspective, just like DC’s Aquarium Quest is.
If you like this you love the first one.
Here’s a link… Fish Killin’ Frenzy. How many fish can you kill in 5 minutes? Play in your browser now. http://badbettagames.com/games/fish-killin-frenzy
Oh and it’s free, more or less made this for fun. No registration or anything needed at the site to play this one.
anyone who tries it, please let me know if you run into problems of any kind. I tested on my pc, and once after putting it on the server and all seemed to be AOK.
Well you cannot bite in web player mode unless you disable the right click menu
Although it works well in full screen mode
Its got to be the first aquarium game I have played
Personally I’d have preferred to be a tough cichlid rather than a feminine Siamese fighting fish.
Cool game - great concept
thanks for the comment there. I didn’t even think about the right click menu in the web browser. I guess that would be easy to change to some other key…
There’s a screen cursor lock attached to the betta, just click on him and it will hide the cursor, press escape to get it back…Would that keep the right click menu from popping up? I’ll try myself…
Yeah that works well
Its sometimes hard to see if your close enough to bite.
I’m not sure if switching to a camera to show the action from the side of the fish would interrupt game play. It might be worth a try.
Yeah I noticed that too. I thought about using a fadeout-line of sight script when you get ‘x’ relative distance from an enemy to make your fish fade, but I haven’t gotten that just right yet because you have to change out the target transform for the fade out line of sight script depending on what enemy your near…Any tips on the…
I’m new to this.
Thanks Allen. This is my first play around with something on a server…I took it all from my other game and threw this together in less than a day…So I didn’t do the homework I probably should have done, but thanks for the link.
