Fit image to plane

I have a 1208x464 image I want to fit to a plane, however it seems to always cut it in half, and i cant get it to display the whole image. Does anyone know the correct way to do this?

In your texture importer, set the mode to ‘Advanced’. In there, there should be a dropdown called ‘non-power-of-2’ (or something, can’t remember just now). Change that to stop it from rescaling your image to fit the graphics card.
