[Fixed] Cannot Select Objects in Scene View

Hi,
After going through posts that reach to 2007, I closed my scene tab, and opened a new one from menu (or CTRL + 1 shortcut) it’s working as intended. I’m surprised how this became a bug for me and took a couple of days from my development, I feel stupid.

But for anyone wondering, if you have a layout saved, please don’t rely on it much.

Hi,

After I installed 5.1.2p3 I can no longer select objects in my scene view.

  • I can select them in hierarchy window, move and rotate them afterwards.
  • I checked Layers dropdown menu, nothing is locked.
  • I’m in the scene view, I undocked and redocked it, still same.
  • This only happens in one specific project. My other projects are working without this issue. If I create a new project, issue is not there.

Any help?

Thanks for that! I was stuck, unable to select objects after updating to 5.1.3.
