Whenever I search on this topic, I always find the same questions regarding how to show different content in each eye. My question is the other way: why are both eyes showing something different? I don’t really see how this can happen. I inherited a codebase, and it has a few cameras that are switched between in a script and somehow in the switching, the left eye always shows different content from the right eye. I’ve tried to modify things in the editor while running it and haven’t been able to fit it. Considering at any given time it’s just a single camera with Target Eye set for Both, how is this possible and how might I fix it?
To illustrate it better, see the attached image which shows the left only showing skybox, a foreground mesh, and some background trees while the right eye doesn’t show the foreground mesh. If it wasn’t for the telescope in the foreground, I’d think it might be a near clipping plane issue. I have spent hours on this and don’t know where to go next.
