I’ve seen number games on programmable pocket calculators, Ascii games on telnet terminals, text games on BBS, screensaver games, HTML games on Windows dynamic desktop, sound based games you play without any display (!) - I’ve made actually a few of these, and I even made them without the display! I’ve seen games made in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, but this, this one you play inside the address bar of your browser!!!
Breaking news… Local teenagers have begun playing a deadly game they refer to as “Flappy Cars” that involves driving their cars the opposite way down the interstate while swerving to avoid oncoming traffic. 14 lives have tragically been lost so far to this heinous new past-time. More tonight at 11.
Could you recode it so it would use DIV instead? I’d like to put it on my site as easter egg and my hosting doesn’t take such address bar abuse well. Plus, there is also question of visibility and by using right font of right size (and possibly bold) it would make game’s “screen” more visible.
I’m sure that this would be pretty straightforward to just code up in JavaScript. But that’s not the point. It’s a party trick, the entire point of which is that it’s in the address bar.
