flexible hose tutorial ?

hi, i want to make a flexible hose for a game, i was looking on this forum and google but only find links to buy assets from the asset store, that’s fine, but i want to make it without buying any asset, any one can point me in the right direction ?

Hi,

Have you checked Youtube and other places for tutorials on how to make a rope or chain? There is quite a few out there. You could probably make a decent flexible hose the same way as you could make a rope by using bones, skinned mesh and then Physics joints on those bones. Difficulty of the setup would of course depend on what kind of behavior you expect to achieve, but I’m sure you probably would be able to get OK movement relatively easy.
