love that graphics, reminds me of Cel Damage

Thanks charliesamways. I like the art style in Cel Damage. Wish I have an Xbox :frowning:

If you’re attending COMIC CON INTERNATIONAL…

Agimat will be at the San Diego Comic Con, July 20-24, 2011 at the Small Press #O-08. Get a chance to play FLIP RIDERS in person before it even gets to the App Store. Be the FIRST to FLIP and brag to your friends!

Nice vector arts you have there. I think this is a good game. Looks pretty fun. Most of all easy to learn and play. The video looks solid and the music kinda remind me of 8bits music. I wanna ask what type shaders do you use for all the models. Because it looks pretty good and i think i might do something cartoony too. Waiting eagerly for the PC build. One thing i like is the consistency in your game. Color wise, theme wise and music wise. Good job.

Wow, thanks for the nice compliments zine92!

I’m not using any special shader. It’s just the standard Diffuse material and I put the ambient light way up (white).
Then for the outlines I just increase the object and flip its normals and gave it a black material.

I don’t know any way around it at the moment when building for the iOS. I know there’s a Toon Shader but it’s only for the PC build.

I love the music as well. It was created for us by a talented musician: ‘Polo’ (Masataka Yazaki). And he said his inspiration was to give it a Nintendo-ish feel to it. I think it worked perfectly well.

wow this is awesome, remind me of exite bike for NES.

Thanks for sharing with me. I love the music. It suits the game.

Looks great, looking forward to playing it! Very cool art style and music.

This looks really well put together. Nice work.

This was the first thing I thought when I first heard of the concept of the game. I used to love exite bike. It was VERY simple to learn and play and I just loved it. One thing that really did it for me was the level editor. Nothing is more fun than playing your own levels

When I saw this game I thought to myself “Awesome graphical update to a much loved game! Wow! But now the game has so much more obstacles and wow-factor on offer that I can live without the track editor!” I am eagerly looking forward to this release.

As it is, I am a big Apple fan and I buy whatever I can, Apple brand, as far as possible. Powerbook, 2 iMacs, iPad, 3 iPhones, iPod… etc etc etc. What I can’t buy Apple (like my car) i stick an Apple sticker on to. My Apple TV has a 42" Screen and works with an LG remote. Yours?

But as much of an Apple fanboy as I might be, virtual sticks that my finger simply slides off of leaving me wondering why my character is not responding… Not for me. I am thus very picky on what kind of games I play on touch screens. If this game is played by tilting the iDevice then that is just going to make me dizzy so I won’t be having much fun with this that way either (unless, perhaps if tilting changes the world, not the bike) but on desktop… I honestly can’t wait for this…

…, and I never play games on Desktop. LOL. I don’t even have a joypad! LOL!

Looks pretty sweet!

If you’re attending Comic-con, we’re giving away the game for FREE!!!

Drop by our table to find out how. Our table number is O-08 … between isle 1800 1900 at the end of Hall B.

Thanks for the reply guys. As reported, we’re so busy right now at Comic con. It’s a lot of fun and we’re so glad everyone who tried the game loved it! I’ll be responding on your great comments when I get back and decompress hehehe.

Dang. Too bad i can’t really be there. But i wish people going to comic con to have fun.

I’ll make a deal here with whoever does it first: I’ll sponsor you for an all expense paid trip to comic con to attend it with me. Hence, this offer is open to the first person to grab it! All you have to do to qualify for this offer is get me US citizenship and we have a deal… Lol! Comic con, E3, Unity events… I want to attend them all but they are just a tad waaaaaay to expensive to get to (4 months wages just for a plane ticket only). So yeah, get me a way to LIVE in the US legally and I’ll sponsor your trip to comic con AND buy you Flip Riders if it doesn’t happen this year… :stuck_out_tongue:

Game looks great. Let us know when you release it.

Whew… I was really nervous how the article will come out.
