Floor vs Eye Level tracking - Best Practices?

Working on a game that’s not room scale, but still movement based… think Beat Saber but the floor is more mission-critical. Curious if anyone has experience with both tracking modes? It seems that everything defaults to Eye-level tracking. My gut says floor-level tracking would be better to auto-detect height, but curious if people have run into problems with poorly calibrated setups or devices not supporting floor-based tracking.

Building for Oculus (Rift & Quest) as well as Vive and hoping to support others. Thanks!

I’m not sure about this, but it seems inside-out tracking prefers floor-based tracking. So, I’ve been setting my Rift to eye and my Quest to Floor. I could be bonkers, too.
