Focus on a game object when double clicking on it on scene view

Is there a hot key so when I double click on a game object in scene view it will focus on it?
Otherwise right now I have to click on it in scene view and then click on it again in my Hierarchy for my scene view camera to focus on it.

would really speed my work flow up if I could figure out how to do that.

When you select an object, press “f” with your mouse cursor anywhere over the scene view, Is that what you mean?
