Fog dropoff rate

Currently you can set fog density allowing the user to adjust a maximum visible distance, but is there a way to adjust how the fog is applied over a range of distances? For example, if I wanted nearby things to be tinted relatively strongly, but still wanted a far maximum visible distance, is this possible?

At the moment, there’s only one kind of fog and you can only control its colour and density, so the answer is no, I’m afraid.

I’m not sure if there’s some way of making a custom shader which provides finer control over your fog. Might be worth looking into.
