Fog problem with a large plane

I’m having trouble with fog on an iMac. When I try to make a bigger plane to run on, the ground takes the fog color no matter what i do. Also, scaling the plane on x and z axis (red, green) doesn’t affect the color. Only if I scale it on y-axis (yellow) it approaches the fog color as it gets larger. See attached pictures below.

This only happens on iMac (HD2600), but not on MBP (8600GT). On the iMac I also experiece some flickering while moving around in the scene if fog color is set different than from big plane’s color.

I’m running Unity Indie.

Any suggestions?

Fog is calculated at vertices, and results interpolated across the polygons. So if you have a large plane, tesselate it more.

That worked, thanks!

Though it’s still a bit of a mystery why it worked on the mbp without tesselating…
