Folding Phones

Hi everyone. Just looking for a little help.

I’ve searched for info here on folding phones and the threads seem to have dies a few years ago (or I’m on the wrong terms).

I want to take advantage of some features on folding phones to adjust my interface, but it seems Unity doesn’t directly support that yet.

If anyone knows of a working tutorial or sample or repository that I can use, it would be much appreciated.

I’m not an Android programmer (directly) and gradle is kicking my butt.
I’ve spent about 4 weeks now running through all the Android plug-in for Unity tutorials that I can find, but they don’t work. Microsoft’s repository appears to have died a couple years back and in a build of the sample works and runs, but rotation is not so much fun on the original Duo and the Pixel Fold. Also split screen on the Pixel blacked out the sample.
Samsung’s sample on codelab built and ran but didn’t work for the hinge detection. I’ve been trim that down to a simple app for debugging, but if it runs through the java I’ going to be back to debugging the Android side.

So, any help or suggestions where I can get a crash course on folding devices with Unity would be much appreciated.

Thanks!
