If there were alot of modules in the future, it would make testing for different devices alot easier i think. Btw, i am not affiliated with the product in any way.

Nice to see some competition with Project Ara. Hopefully, one of the options becomes viable.
I’m not sure if this is something people will want in the long term but it still boggles my mind that no one seems to want to make a phone that lasts several days/up to a week per battery charge. The industry seems to be in the endless loop of 1080p → QHD → latest display technology and even though system on a chip becomes more energy efficient the new displays always bring us back down to the phone “might” last an entire single day. This doesn’t make sense to me when our eyes can’t tell the difference on such a tiny screen. Better battery life is important but yet the industry ignores it.
At the very least the modular design will let me put better batteries in and use a less power hungry display.
