This was the first game I’ve developed when I discovered Unity and I’ve already ported it to iphone. A few days ago I went back to the first project and decided to give it a rework. It’s amazing how many mistakes I’ve discovered on the code. I rewrote lots of the code and made some improvements to the graphics. Here is how it is now:
I like the look and style of the graphics, great idea for a web game
One thing I would add is that even when spinning the player at full speed the ball hardly moves when hit, would be better I think if the speed of the spinning player had more influence over the speed of the ball. Also the ai on the goalie needs to be a little tougher, most of the time the goalie knocked the ball into its own net
Keep at it, I think there is good potential in this.
The graphics are definitely in place and the game looks sharp! I did spot numerous grammar and spelling errors, though…and as far as game play goes…well, the screenshot says it all because I’m terrible at Foozball in real life.
I think the AI kicked in at least 6 of my goals for me and the ball never went past the middle of the table the entire game. Other than that, I’d love to see this tweaked more cause it’s a very nice production all in all.
