For animation on creatures Blender or Unity?

I’m just starting to learn Blender, but looking down the road, I would like to know which is best to use for animations. Once the object is rigged, do I make the animations in Blender or in Unity? These would be for idle, attack and attack two(if needed), and death. Thanks guys!

Depends on your needs, but on Unity you cannot make animations for Humanoids rig, but you can buy asset that help with it. I didn’t use it for now, but people says its good tool and many of them use already this asset for animations instead of Blender, cause you don’t need to export fbx from Blender to Unity each time for small change.
Blender is a software not only for animations, but for creating new models or editing the old ones.
If you need a tool only for animation, go buy asset and don’t care about Blender. Even if you will create something in Blender I think asset (it has a freeware versio top) is good option for for time saving.
If you don’t plan doing anything with humanoid rig, use Unity Basic tool
