For Short Film, what is the best workflow for Animated Camera?

Hi guys,
We are working on a short film, and quite new to Unity. We know Unity mainly to save time and budget for Lighting and Rendering stage. For Animators, should we animate the camera in Maya and then only import into Unity? Or , do we re-create a Unity Camera for each shots after importing the character’s animations?
Which way would be more time efficient ?
Everyone’s experience sharing would be much appreciated. Thank you~
