I have been working on combining the mechanics of a roguelike, with the look and feel of the old school style dungeon crawlers (dungeon master, eye of the beholder, etc). Forbidden Depths hopefully will create that mix. Currently i’ve been able to complete the random dungeon generator and basic grid/tile based movement. So now the dungeons can be at least explored the way they were meant to be. Next step is to get a basic inventory system going. I will hopefully be updating this thread on a regular basis as well as the website which can be found here:
