I’m having problems when I reorganized my assets folder. The destination project was not synced for a few changesets and now it gets stuck when updating workspace( Plastic SCM error) while trying to download and import 800+ Mb new files. The thing is that most of these files are not even in the source project, they where long ago deleted in previous changesets and are not present in the source. Despite that it tries to download all that stuff to, presumably, delete them after…
Is there any way to force sync to the last state ignoring all of these files to add and remove again?
I guess you are using the Version Control plugin in Unity, right?
By default, updating the workspace will be updating it to the head of the branch. If you open the branch explorer view, you can check where the workspace is pointing (house icon) and manually switch your workspace to the desired changeset/branch.
If you still have issues, you can reach us at support@plasticscm.com and we can try to arrange a meeting with you to debug the problem.
We are using the built-in on Unity ( the one with pending changes, incoming changes, changesets and branches tabs), our project was automatically migrated from collab three weeks ago.
We don´t have any branches, only two people working on it. Nothing seems to help to sync both projects, can´t update workspace.
Finally deleted all the folder and downloaded again from the cloud. Don´t know why but even downloading it from the cloud I have 74 elements to send in Added and private section…
Hi Zape, this behavior makes me think that some issue happened during the update (I’ve seen it in the past linked to network issues). Can you attach the Plastic client logs and let us know the estimated time you ran the last clean update?
C:\Users\xxx\AppData\Local\plastic4\logs
Are your downloading again the project via the Unity plugin or the Plastic SCM Cloud standalone client? (www.plasticscm.com → Cloud)
Can you run the following command in a terminal? This way, we can check the network speed when accessing our cloud:
cm iostats YourOrganization@cloud --nettotalmb=128
