Force unity to free up some memory

Hi, I’m writing a plugin for iOS that pushed a new view controller, replacing the unity view, but I run out of memory at some point.

I tried loading an empty scene before launching it and calling Resources.UnloadUnusedAssets before transitioning to it, but unity still takes too much memory.

Is there a way to force unity to delete its data and free some memory?

Have you tried build-stripping?
