I am glad we had a new forum to use and i am sure vBuletin is going to help moderators and user alike to stop the spam and get rid of morons who want to increase their post count.
But i have a problem with the current theme, which is too fade for me. When i read a forum, my eyes doesn’t stop on anything on the page, everything is on a nice pastel colors and I have to make an effort in order to look for threads with new posts.
Bellow is my proposal to improve forum readability.
Yep, less pseudo design (gradients), introducing a few easy to look at seperating elements and tweaking the colours for a better contrast here and less there. The way it is now, it is straining the eyes too much. Get rid of the white spaces and italic.
A lot of vbulletin forums have the option to switch to another color scheme available to every user. The developers should add this because it is a little hard to read when everything blends together. It is kind of a dull color. I think it would be awesome to make the forums the color of gumball machines, all bright and happy.
