The forum is completely wrecked now. I click on a link, and I’m immediately seeing the page I wanted. This is no good, I need the long delay back so that I can have a coffee break, or go to lunch, while the page loads.

I agree… it was so different before when it was slow, with that extra time to imagine what is to come… a bit like a striptease only without the stripping… or teasing. Like waiting for a pint to settle before taking the first swig… only without beer. Like reading a new and interesting post… only without the text.
Come to think of it… it sucked.

Something terrible has happened this morning : I was posting a message, and then the response was ultra fast. Actually it was so fast that sparkles started to grow on my screen, with a loud hissing sound. Then a flash, and everything came back to normal … except I looked at my calendar, which said June, 7th, 2005.
The forum speed made me travel back in time.
Well I had no other way to come back in 2010 than to wait for 5 years.

Yeah, ever since they installed that new flux capacitor you really have to be careful not to get the forum speed up to 88mph.
