Fps Gliding

Im working on a Fps game where you play as an angel and demon. They both have their own sets of powers. The angels powers consit of Creation and Gliding. I know that for the most part the gliding is just messing with the falls speed but how do I get it to where the gliding only activates on a button input?

You can add a boolean that checks whether the player is flying. To activate this upon getting input, use Input.GetButtonDown(“Axis”) or Input.GetKeyDown(“Key”). This is only for activating it. You can do this again to disable it, though you’d need some kind of timer so these actions don’t happen at the same time, canceling each other out.
