Free 3D Animation Tool

Hi Guys,

I had an animator for a project but he left the project and the animations that he did need to be updated. As I am just a programmer im looking for an animator tool thats easy to retarget, and expand the animations that he did. i only got the fbx file though. and the animations are all in 1 fbx file.

so my question is: is there any tools just focusing on animations ? 3ds max, maya, blender these are really complicated and huge softwares for me.

Id say you probably should get an animator to do this touch up work because getting stuff looking right is a lot more than just knowing how to use the software properly.
But since you are in need here is a pretty simple solution that you can probably use.
