FREE 3d Video Intro Package !

You all have done so much for me…
Now, it is MY turn to do something for YOU…
First off… Thank you for all the cool free stuff on the Asset Store that has helped me on my projects …

Hopefully this saves you some time.
I am proud to offer you my “3d Dynamic Video Intro” for Free !

This product is a template that incorporates into your existing projects and
with a little code work your project has a “3d Dynamic Video Intro”. (Pro Only)

This system has all the code and art files for your projects to work with our
“3d Dynamic Video Intro” in either Web Streaming or Stand Alone.

Just add the assets to your project then open our scene switch out the video and
sound files and revise a little code. So, while the video is playing you can click
on the screen to launch your main level.

We combined this product with our “3d Dynamic Web Site” product into the classic
“Unity Island Demo” for you to preview at:
Video Intro Unity Island Demo Web Player

Also you can check out our personal “3d Web Site” which uses the same setup here:
TerraSame

Of course, we accept donations!

Steps to get this working:
(We insist that you do not use the attached video and audio files. See below.)

1.) Download our “3d Dynamic Video Intro” asset package.
HERE:

You will receive a zip file. “TerraSame_3d_Video_Intro.zip”
Un-Zip it and you will find the “3d Dynamic Video Intro.unitypackage” file.
Un-pack directly into your personal project.

You will receive one folder, 3d Dynamic Video Intro, with five folders and a text document that will be in your project Assets Folder.
A.) Artwork
B.) Audio
C.) Level
D.) Script
E.) Video
F.) Documentation Video Intro 2.txt

2.) In the “Level” folder, open the “TerraSame” Scene and click the run button to review the “3d Dynamic Video Intro” level.
The level should run. (Set up for 800x600)

You will then need to revise files by following the info below.

3.) Create your own Movie file and replace the “TerraSame.avi” file that is in the “Video” folder.
(To reduce other work, through your computer, rename your file to match ours … ie: “TerraSame.avi”)

4.) Create your own Audio file and replace the “Terrasame.wav” file that is in the “Audio” folder.
(To reduce other work, through your computer, rename your file to match ours… ie: “TerraSame.wav”)

5.) In the “Scripts” folder find and open the file named “Load_Your_Level” and find the words:
Application.LoadLevel(“Islands”); at line No. 17
Change the word “Islands” to the name of your main level Ie: “Your Level Name”

6.) Fire up the level and it should run with your video and your audio playing…
At any time, click on the screen and your main level should fire up.

To compile to Web Streaming or Stand Alone folders, follow the standard practice but you will need to
add the “TerraSame” Scene to the “Build Settings” list and make it the first level to be compiled.

Also, the level is set up for a resolution of 800x600
If you want something other than that you will need to tweek the “TerraSame” Level as you see fit.

In your “Credits” list, please credit “TerraSame”

Thanks and I hope you find this useful.
I would like to see your project too. So, when it is ready please let me know…

I hope you find this of value and it goes well…
Any problems or comments… let me know…

Have Fun

Hi…
I would really like some comments if you tried this package and how it works for you…
Please check it out and let me know…
Thanks

I tried the Island Demo and clicked links from the dropdown but nothing occurred for any of them. Just the standard demo. Operator error?

ippdev…
Hey thanks for the reply…
Yes… the dropdown buttons on that demo are not linked…
That web setup through the dropdowns is a different product…
The “3d Intro” package, is simply the Intro Video that fires up first and can be added to any Pro project where you can switch out the video and sound file.
If you are interested in seeing the dropdown buttons working then check out my facebook tabs or my "3d Web Site…
Links to all that stuff can be viewed at www.terrasame.com
Thanks
