I am trying to get the game into round two judging and apparently I don’t have as many friends as I thought ; ) Anyway I really would love feedback and votes if you can spare the time.
It has some cool new features like power ups, shields, updated controls and you can see Unity’s new FFT windows functions in action!

REALLY like it. Nice layer effects and sounds and awesome menus, very wip3out! Could do with more power-ups, but there may be, as I didn’t get very far (on laptop atm, and trackpad is no good for shooting lol)
You say it’s beta, are you planning on a standalone release? Full screen, full fps would be cool.
thx iisjreg!! Yeah iPhone/iPad definitely but I’m sure I could add Mac App Store as well.
There will definitely be more powerups, enemy types and new arena styles. Possibly for with new game modes to break up the top down action.

this is really cool, I enjoyed playing it
the one issue that really kept annoying me is that you have so much graphical flair on everything that it tends to draw your attention away from enemies way too much. I kept getting hit by things cause its just too hard to see them with everthing going on. Like those little yellow triangle bullets that get shot at you from far away… I’d add some major glow onto all enemies to make them stand out. maybe even make the glow pulsate, make it pulsate faster the more serious of a threat it is.
Honestly, dun really wat going on when playing the game, probably need a step by step tutorial and clean out the screen a bit but graphic is quite nice, i really love the effect, nice job!
